Pilots of the Spire often adopt a ranged tactic, as it is not fast enough for close combat. However, the ship can be turned quickly, and with ease, and when equipped properly all guns point all within 90 degrees of the front. This means that the pilot can point towards the enemy from a distance, and all four guns could be fired on target. However, this is difficult, and it is more common for 3 guns, rather than four, to be fired simultaneously. |

“ | The towering Spire is a sentry ship originally built to guard the mountain passes of the Baronies. The earliest models were nearly stationary, with weak thruster engines and a weapon pointed in every cardinal direction to cover all approaches. When decommissioned Spires were later modified for use in battle fleets, the rear gun was moved to concentrate fire forward. While their forward speed is limited, they can rotate easily around their center to bring their guns to bear and protect their exposed stern. | ” |

The Spire has four gun loadout points. One medium gun on the second deck facing the bow. Three small guns, one on the top deck facing the bow, one on the middle deck facing the port side, and one on the mid-top deck facing the starboard side.
